Bangalore police is approaching the court for extending the duration of police custody of Obaidur Rahman and other Muslims arrested by it. The apprehension that Bangalore Police is conspiring to bring under its net many more Muslim youths from Hyderabad is gaining strength. Police claimed that Obaidur Rahman & his companion Mohammed Akram have revealed that they were planning to kill Mr. B. Rajavardhana Reddy, Advocate President of Hindu Vahini. The police got these details when they analyzed the e-mail of Mohammed Akram.
The police also said that the extension of police custody of these youths is necessary because interrogation of the Muslim youths arrested from Maharashtra, Bangalore and Andhra Pradesh is yet to be completed.
Police also said that a few more Muslim youths are to be arrested. Wit this kind of attitude of the police, it can be presumed that it will arrest some more Muslim youths form Hyderabad before Ganesh festival.
