Hyderabad, May 14: CCS police on Friday arrested two accused involved in MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi’s assassination attempt.
Sources said that Abdullah bin Younus Yafai was arrested when he was discharged from Yashodha hospital. Similarly police also arrested Omer chicken centre worker Amir.
On the other side police continue their effort to record Akbaruddin Owaisi’s statement. Police have received a letter from Care hospital doctors in which hospital administration stated that some more time is required before police could record MLA’s statement.
Officials have to say that only after recording MLA’s statement it would be easy to connect the links of the case and as for now police are still confused as to how many revolvers were used during the attack.
It should be noted that after a weeklong police custody police produced Mohammad Saleh Wahlan before the magistrate at his residence and later shifted him to jail.
Police told that identity parade of the arrested accused will be conducted shortly.
