Majlis e Ittehadul Muslimeen Leader & Chandrayangutta MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi Thursday came under attack by Telangana protestor Near Kottur in Mahboob nagar district
People had to baton charge the protestors who attacked his car, damaging the windowpanes.
Tension prevailed near J P Dargah when the MIM MLA was stopped by protestors, police said.
Raising slogans of ‘Jai Telangana’, they sat on the road to block his car. Some of the protestors pelted stones, damaging the windowpanes. Police had a tough time in controlling the mob. The MLA managed to leave the place under tight security.
