Chandauli, July 12: Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) of the Uttar Pradesh police has arrested two illegal arms suppliers and recovered from their possession 11 pistols and a huge quantity of ammunition.
According to police, the ATS team from Varanasi caught hold of the arms supplier Shakir and Sahajad at Mugalsarai railway station last night.
The ATS team recovered 8 pistols of 32 bore and three pistols of 9 mm along with a huge quantity of cartridges of these firearms.
Both the accused are being interrogated by the ATS to find out the gang to which had to supply these illegal arms.
