The local court on Tuesday remanded two suspects arrested in connection with last year’s Mumbai blasts to a fresh custody of Maharashtra Anti-Terrorism Squad till March 13.
ATS on Tuesday arrested Naqi Ahmed Wasi Ahmed Sheikh (22) and Nadeem Akhtar Ashfaq Sheikh (23) in the Dadar blast case.
“Earlier they were arrested in the Zaveri Bazaar blast case, then they were arrested in the Opera House blast case, today they were arrested in the Dadar case,” said defence lawyer Khalid Azmi.
ATS told the court on Tuesday that it wanted to investigate further.
Near-simultaneous bomb blasts at Zaveri Bazaar, Opera House and Dadar areas of Mumbai killed 27 persons on July 13 last year.
