Hyderabad: Against the increasing communal violence at national level on Muslims and Dalits, a protest was organized by SC, ST, BC and Muslim Front at Ambedkar Statue, Tank Bund yesterday. Chief Convener of the Front, Mr. Sanaullah Khan led the protest. Social Activist, Ms. Jasween Jairath, Mr. Prem Kumar, Mr. Y. Ramulu, Maulana Hamid Husain Shuttari, Maulana Syed Tariq Qadri, Anwar Khan, Mr. Nayeemullah Shareef, Mr. Rasheed Khan Azad, Mr. Husain Habeeb, Mr. Aslam Abdur Rahman, Hafiz Mateen, Mr. MM Shareef, Mr. Mohammed Afzal and others participated in the protest meeting.
Speaking on this occasion, the participants expressed their anxiety over the atrocities meted out to Muslims and Dalits under the pretext cow protection and religion. They condemned all such activities. They said that these incidents of violence pose a great danger to the peace loving Indians. They also expressed anxiety on the criminal silence of State Administrations. They appealed to the secular and peace loving citizens of the country to come forward to protect such events. From the incidents of killing of Aklaq in Dadri to the assassination of Junaid are the worst incidents of the history of democratic India. They demanded such activities and demanded the Central Govt. to punish those who are resorting to violence in the name of Gau Raksha.
