Atrocities of Hyderabad police is no lesser than Gujarat’s: Zahid Ali Khan

Ram Puniyani’s book ‘Hindutva Terrorism’ released

Hyderabad, March 22 (Siasat News): The human rights activist Mr. Ram Puniyani said that Hindu communal forces have lost their sleep post revelation of the facts related to terrorism.

Police machinery and political forces have determined that wherever and whenever a terrorist attack is done, it is nobody but Muslims are behind the act.

The death former ATS chief Hemant Karkare is still a mystery who was shot dead during the Mumbai attacks on November 26, 20008.

Ram Puniyani was addressing a gathering on the occasion of the release function of the Urdu translation of his book ‘Hindutva Terrorism’ at Mahboob Hussein Jigar Hall, which was presided over by Mr. Zahid Ali Khan, editor Siasat.

In his speech, Mr. Khan said that Hyderabad police is no lesser than Gujarat police as far as the atrocities on Muslim youths are concerned.

After the bomb blast in Makkah Masjid in 2007, Muslim youths were indiscriminately arrested and put into jail. They were subjected to tortures and third degree treatment.

In those days, Mr. P Madhu, former MP, was the first person to meet the Muslim youths in jail.

Renowned humorist and Padmashree awardee Mr. Mujtaba Hussein said that today, the media is not playing its role satisfactorily but Siasat is a newspaper that has always out cried against the tyranny. He also said that communal riots broke out on communal slogans but the aim behind the riots is different.

Staff reporter Md. Mubashirudin Khurram compered the entire proceedings of the release function.
