The height of atrocities of the police constables of Blue Colt of Mangalhat were witnessed yesterday. they had beaten a 12 year old boy in Mangalhat. They kicked him heavily on a trivial issue. The boy could not bear the trouble. He fell unconscious.
According to reports, Muzammil (12) son of Shaik Mukhtar resident of Aghapura was playing cricket at 4:30 pm yesterday. The cricket ball of this boy hit the tyre of the motorcycle of the Blue Colt police constable. Muzammil came running and requested the policemen to return his cricket ball. He pleaded them saying “Uncle, Uncle, give me back this Cricket ball”. They started kicking him inhumanity.
The question is, “is it the way of policing?” and should this be the attitude of police with people? The local residents took the boy to his house. He was rushed to Osmania General Hospital. Seeing the critical condition of the boy, the doctors advised his parents to register a complaint against the police. Even after waiting for five hours, no case was registered by the police. The boy was taken to Asra Hospital immediately.
One of the relatives of the boy told that the policemen have offered to bear the expenses of the medical treatment of the boy but the parents have demanded the police officers to suspend the policemen immediately and take action against them otherwise they would approach the Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad.
