Hyderabad, April 19: Rainbazar police arrested husband of an assistant professor of an Engineering college for harassing her to bring more dowry.
According to details Aizaz Sultana lodged a complaint with Rainbazar police against her husband Mohammad Salman Warsi resident of Eik khana masjid. She alleged that her husband started harassing her for more dowry since her marriage and even assaulted her.
Aizaz Sultana in her complaint stated that her husband harassed her for 4 lakh rupees as a result she was in deep mental trauma.
It is said that her in-laws also harassed her and made her life agonizing.
Police registered a case against Mohammad Salman Warsi and his family members and remanded him under judicial custody.
