Hyderabad, November 01: The next session of Andhra Pradesh legislative Assembly is likely to be convened in the second week of November. Talking to reporters here, State Civil Supplies and Legislative Affairs Minister D Sreedhar Babu said the Business Advisory Committee would meet in the first week of this month and discuss the agenda for the session. Denying speculations that the session was not being convened as the Kiran Kumar Reddy government was in minority, he said the party enjoys complete majority and there was no threat to the Congress government. The party was ready to face a floor test, if any opposition party introduces a No Confidence Motion, he said and clarified that the session could not be convened due to the political and other circumstances prevailing in the region. The party was in favour of holding the session at the earliest to discuss issues pertaining to people s welfare and clear the doubts of all opposition parties, the minister said. The government wants to make a statement on the floor of the House about the various people s welfare schemes, he added. The Telangana Rashtra Samithi(TRS) was luring the MLAs of other political parties to increase their strength in the state assembly, he alleged. Three Telangana Congress MLAs- Jupalli Krishna Rao, Rajayya and Somarapu Satyanarayana joined the TRS two-days ago.
