Job Description:
We are hiring Project Manager. .NET for our International client at Noida. This is a perm position with our client & you would be on payroll of the client itself.
Client is an international global professional services firm that specialises in delivering custom research & analytic services to corporations, financial services, management consulting firms. Headquartered in UK with offices in US, China, Germany, India, Romania, Switzerland supporting external and internal clients in developing and deploying technology-based platforms and applications.
Candidate should be an experienced, motivated Project Manager (PM) with prior working knowledge/ experience in .NET.
Communication skills should be 7/10.
The PM will be involved in managing both internal and client software development projects. This will entail planning, tracking and managing the end to end delivery cycle for software product releases. The Project Manager will ensure that the software product released meets the documented requirements, is delivered on time, on budget and with the necessary quality standards as defined in the project plan.
Role Requirements:
Coordinate resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
Ensure resource availability and allocation
Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
Report and escalate to management as needed
Successfully manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
Perform risk management to minimize project risks
Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
Works collaboratively and professionally with other associates in cross functional teams to achieve goals
Apply a sense of urgency, commitment and focus on the right priorities in developing solutions in a timely fashion
Technical Skills and Competence:
Must have good understanding of SDLC phases of application development
Must be working in a techno-managerial role.
Must have delivered several different types of project of varying complexities and sizes.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating the ability to communicate technology concepts to non-technology personnel
Must have effectively interfaced with customers for business discussions and have a desire to delight customers
Must be directly managing a team of 5-10 people.
Ability to calculate effort estimates and create project plans efficiently
Ability to maintain quality levels while multitasking
Experience
Minimum of 4 years experience in project management in the information technology sector
Minimum of 2 years experience in leading teams
Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies
Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
Experience in agile methodology approach.
Education:
Bachelors or masters degree in computer science, information systems or equivalent
MBA from a reputable university (preferred, but not necessary)
Certifications such as PMP or Prince2 (preferred, but not necessary)
