Assembly wasted 70% of time, alleges Ravula

TDP leader Ravula Chandrasekhar Reddy on Monday alleged the present Assembly has failed to utilise even 30 per cent of the time to discuss the issues concerning common people.

Speaking to media persons at Assembly’s media point, Chandrasekhar Reddy said that the Assembly met for 205 days in the last five years. However, not even 30 per cent of the time was spent on debates. The rest of the time was wasted on uproar and protests. He alleged that the Congress Government never showed seriousness in discussing the problems being faced by the people.

Chandrasekhar Reddy also rejected the Vote-on-Account budget for the year 2014-15 saying that it lacked clarity on all the issues. (INN)
