Dismissing the media reports that the ruling party was afraid of convening assembly in view of various issues mainly power crisis in the state, Government Whip in the Legislative Council Y Shivaram Reddy today informed that the Assembly Session would be convened by this month end. Talking to reporters at the Congress Legislature Party office, Mr Reddy said the party was ready to answer all the issues if raised by the opposition parties during the Assembly Session. The State Government, especially Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy, was taking all necessary steps to solve the problems being faced by the people annd instructed the concerned officials to address them he added. All the opposition parties,including the main opposition Telugu Desam , YSR Congress party and Left Parties,earlier had demanded the government to convene a special session to discuss on the ongoing severe power crisis in the state.
