Assembly can only gather opinion of MLAs: Nagam

BJP leader Dr Nagam Janardhan Reddy has said the Chief Minister has no power to conduct voting or cause amendments to the Telangana Bill.
Speaking at the Assembly media point on Tuesday, Nagam alleged that Chief Minister was imagining that the Assembly has powers to do anything to the Bill and subsequently obstructing the debate on the Bill. He said the House has no power to amend the Bill and conduct voting on clauses. He said the House can only elicit views from the members on the Bill. (NSS)
