A mushaira was organized on 18th November at District Cntral Library at Karimnagar in connection with Library week. Mr. K.V.N. Raju, Secretary of District Gnandhalayan Sanstha of Karimanagar, Mr. Mohammed Abid Husain, President of Muslim Citizens, Mr. Syed Mohiuddin, Senior Correspondent of Siasat Urdu Daily, Mr. Mohammed Abbad Samee, Chairman, Minorities Welfare Committee, and others were guests of honour for Mushaira.
Before the commencement of Mushaira, Mr. K.V.N. Raju, Secretary of Karimnagar District Library addressed the gathering and assured that he would be on the forefront for the development of Urdu in the district. He also promised that next year, Library will celebrate Maulana Azad’s birthday and his portrait will be displayed in the library. Mushaira was presided over by the noted poet Mr. Mokhdoom Mohiuddin.
