Amidst the raging debate over increase in intolerance and after Yogi Adityanath comparing Bollywood king SRK with terrorist Hafiz Saeed, Rashtriya Swayemsewak Sangh (RSS) on Thursday termed a bunch of politicians like Mohd Azam Khan ,Digvijaya Singh, Asaduddin Owaisi ,Lalu Prasad Yadav, and historian Irfan Habib as separatists .
RSS also alleged that these ‘separatist’ elements were shedding crocodile tears in the name of ‘intolerance’.The RSS also called “leftist terror” as a bigger threat than IS, according to report.
Narain said, “That is biggest example of “extreme tolerance” that could not be found in any other country. Muslims, Sikhs, Christians and followers of other religions are safe in the country until Hindus are in majority here.”
He expressed concern over population imbalance and said that Muslim population has reached to over 14% from over 8% in 1951, while Hindus has come down from over 88 to 83%.
The RSS leader said Azam was a separatist because he had called Bharat Mata a ‘Daayan (witch)’, while Digvijaya was also in the same league for grieving over killing of terrorists in Batla House encounter and holding RSS responsible for the killing of ATS officer Hemant Karkare during 2008 Mumbai terror attack .
He added that RSS does not agree with the statement of Shah Rukh Khan on ‘intolerance’. “It is also the responsibility of people like Shah Rukh Khan to create such circumstances in which sentiments of public are not hurt,” Narain said
Speaking over Yogi Adityanath’s statement on Shah Rukh Khan Intolerance remark, he said that Adityanath is a self-proclaimed leader and cannot be controlled by the RSS.
