Syrian President Bashar al-Assad has reportedly said that his government is receiving information from “third parties” in the U.S.-led coalition combating the Islamic State ( IS) in Syria.
Assad however, added that there was no direct cooperation between Syria and the coalition since air raids began in Syria in September, reported the BBC.
The report said that Iraq was among the “third parties” conveying “information” to Assad.
The US National Security Council spokesperson denied cooperating with the Syrian government by saying that there had been no “advance notification to the Syria ns at a military level.”
