Hyderabad, December 21: Naba Kumar Sarkar alias Asimanand a key accused in Makkah Masjid blast case was produced in Nampally criminal court by CBI officials yesterday. Agency had shifted Asimanand from Delhi to Hyderabad after the conclusion of 8 day CBI custody.
Highly placed sources told that Asimanand revealed names of several RSS leaders during CBI custody who were involved in Hindu terrorist activities.
The investigating agency recorded the confession statement of the accused at CBI headquarter in New Delhi and later submitted it to the court.
The Makkah Masjid bomb blast case accused was produced before 14 Additional Chief metropolitan magistrate Mr. Sudhakar yesterday morning and he was remanded to judicial custody till December 28.
