Asian-origin kids run over by car in Britain

Two Asian-origin children – aged two and 10 – are in critical condition after they were run over by a car in Leeds.

Raham Saleem and his 10-year-old sister Sabam were returning home having bought onions for their mother’s Eid preparations, when they were hit while crossing the road, the Daily Mail reported Sunday.

The accident took place Saturday evening on Brudenell Road, near the Makkah Masjid Mosque in Leeds.

The driver of the silver Vauxhall Astra fled the scene, and the young siblings were taken with serious injuries to hospital where they had to undergo surgery.
