The Indian Association of Secretaries and Administration Professionals will hold its Asian level Congress in Karachi Pakistan in September 2014 said Mrs. Homai Mehta President Emeritus of Indian Association of Secretaries and Administration Professionals (IASAP).
Speaking on the occasion of the 20th Anniversary Celebrations of the Hyderabad chapter of the IASAP here at Hyderabad Mrs. Homai Mehta said that the agenda for the Asian level conference will be dissemination of knowledge and skills in continuously upgrading the secretaries to the changing global corporate culture .The four day training program at Karachi Pakistan will discuss on issues ranging from development of emotional quotient to building relationships among secretaries and administrational professionals besides others.
Stressing on Team work she said that the secretaries and administrational professionals should work as a team and be the connect between themselves and their boss as well as their peers. She also called upon the need to inculcate emotional quotient attitude which is building relationships not only at office but at home as well .
She said that it was unfortunate that “relationships’ was fast loosing its ground. Lauding the Hyderabad chapter for successfully taking up activities in promotion of the skills of secretaries and administrational professionals at regional level Mrs. Homai Mehta said that the Association is working towards forming new chapters in all the states of the country. Against the seven existing chapters including in cities like Mumbai Chennai Kolkatta Delhi Pune Bengaluru Hyderabad two more chapters are in the offing one in Gujarat and the other in Kerala .

She gave an example of how a groom is found collectively by family members for their loves ones .But individually one should have an individual choice and stop worrying about others views Pressures should not come in the say of ones activity to prioritise at the same time having ability to decide and be clear and also have the ability to be open to ideas and views.
Ms. Marlene Beatrice Smith Chairpeson IASAP Hyderabad chapter said that in April next the annual event of Hyderabad chapter will be held . In addition the chapter will also take up activities for HIV positive children in addition to other social activities . She said that ITC Hotels was sponsoring the meetings across different parts of the country .
