Asia Argento removed from ‘X Factor Italy’

Washington: Actor Asia Argento will no more judge the reality TV show ‘X Factor Italy’. This comes after she came into news for allegedly sexually harassing a actor Jimmy Bennet.

The Italian actor has denied the reports of sexually assaulting 17-year-old Bennet. However, she did agreed that her late boyfriend Anthony Bourdain paid USD 380,000 as a settlement.

Variety reported that Italian media houses, who are producing the reality TV show decided to pull Argento from the show. However, she will be seen in the first few episodes that were shot earlier.
Argento’s ex-husband, Italian pop star Morgan, will reportedly replace her in the show.

Meanwhile, Argento was one of the first women to raise her voice against Hollywood’s disgraced producer Harvey Weinstein’s sexual misconduct.
