An assistant sub-inspector today died of a gunshot wound at his house near police lines in Giridih district, a police official said here.
According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Sambhu Singh, the ASI, Parsuram Sahu, succumbed to the bullet injury
on way to hospital.
He said investigation was on whether the bullet was hit his stomach accidentally or there was any other angle.
