Ashok Singhal visits Nithyananda ashram

Bangalore, August 17: VHP international president Ashok Singhal today visited self-styled godman Nithyananda’s ashram at Bidadi near here and addressed a gathering of disciples.

Singhal, along with VHP international working president S Vedantam and Vijay Kumar, Bangalore president, visited the Anandeshwara temple at the ashram before addressing the audience, a statement from the ashram said.

The VHP leader dwelt on “the Hindu tradition of non-violence” and said Hindus are the most peace-loving people in the world, it said.
