Ashok says FC Report Comes in Way of Spl Status to AP

Union minister for Civil aviation Ashok Gajapatiraju has said that the recommendation of the 14th finance commission is responsible for not taking a decision to accord special status to Andhra Pradesh.
The centre is not able to take a decision on special status to AP due to some technical problems, the minister said.

Criticizing the opposition allegation on the functioning of Modi government, Ashok Gajapatiraju said ‘we cannot complete everything just in a year’. It was a beginning only, he asserted. Modi government has given utmost importance for providing social security to the people in its first year of rule, he said adding that it was government of action and not just of talking.

The minister asserted that International standard airports would be built in Andhra Pradesh.(NSS)
