Hyderabad: Minister of Information Technology, Mr. K.T.Rama Rao signed an MoU with Ashok Leyland which will establish its unit in Telangana. It would generate more than 1000 jobs. With the attempts made by Industries Department of TS, Ashok Leyland has agreed to invest Rs. 500 crore in Telangana. The company will start construct work of the plant in the beginning of next year. Within a year, the plant will start functioning. After starting this plant, it is hoped that many MNCs will take interest in investing money in Automobile units in the State.
