Ashok Babu is sure of Telangana process delay

President of APNGO’s Association, Mr. Ashok Babu told that the indefinite strike of Seema Andhra NGOs will continue. The employees of Secretariat and Electricity have called off their strike temporarily. It does not mean that the employees have ended their strike and that they have withdrawn their demand of keeping the State United. If Telangana Bill is presented in Parliament, employees will start their strike again. The cabinet note on Telangana was delayed for 60 days due to the strike of Seema Andhra employees. He hoped that the process of formation of Telangana will not be accelerated now. He also told that he would the political leaders of all the parties to apprise them of the need to keep AP integrated. If Mr. K. Chandrasekara Rao gives and appointment, he is prepared to meet him also to convince him to keep the State united. He also said that the issue of Telangana is political and Congress Party is not in a position to face the public in Seema Andhra region because its leaders knew before hand that Telangana is going to be formed. He also demanded Mr. Chandrababu Naidu to explain whether he would support Telangana or Integrated A.P. He expressed his surprise that those leaders who had resign after the announcement made by Mr. Chidambaram, the then Home Minister on 9th December 2009 are keeping quiet and why they are not tendering their resignation. He targeted the Central leaders in New Delhi that they have adopted the attitude of deceiving the people of both the region.
