Asghar Ali gets bail in Harin Pardiya case

Hyderabad, January 07: Nampally criminal court granted conditional bail to prime accused Asghar Ali who was exonerated earlier.He has been chargesheeted in BJP Councillor Nandraj Goud’s murder case of 1996 for helping Fayaz Baig to escape from Nampally Criminal court.He was set free by Gujarat court and came back to Hyderabad but Hyderabad police arrested him and sent him to jail. His pleader told the court that police is evading to present him in the court and charges have also not been framed against him.He therefore pleaded for granting bail.

The judge granted him bail and ordered the police to produce him in the court on 18th January and also to frame charges against him. The judge also ordered the police that in case it is not possible for the police to produce him in the court,video conferencing could be arranged.Despite getting bail from the court, there are further complications in his case. Two cases are pending in Nalgonda and Narket police stations against him. In both these cases, bail was rejected.Asghar Ali and his colleagues were shifted to Visakhapatnam and Ragahmurdhary jails last year.
