Hyderabad: Mr. Asaduddin Owaisi, President of AIMIM came under the scanner when he claimed that he had donated 15 bottles of blood to a patient.
While addressing an election rally in Maharashtra, Mr. Asaduddin Owaisi told that he had donated 15 bottles of blood to a patient.
Narrating the incident, Mr. Owaisi told that when a doctor asked him whether his blood category is ‘O+’, he said ‘yes’.
The doctor requested him to donate blood. He then donated 15 bottles of blood.
The 44-second video clip went viral on social media. Many persons pointed out that it is humanly impossible for anybody to give 15 bottles of blood on a single day. As per the report published in Indian Express, MBT Spokesman, Mr. Amjadullah Khan Khalid told that the capacity of a bottle is 400 ml which means Mr. Owaisi donated 6000 ml blood in one day. He pointed out that a healthy person contains 4.5 to 5.5 litre blood in the body.
