Hyderabad: Telangana Congress Party condemned the remarks made by AIMIM Party Chief Mr. Asaduddin Owaisi, M.P of Hyderabad against state Congress President, Capt. Uttam Kumar Reddy.
In a press statement issued yesterday, Mr. Abdullah Sohail, President, Minorities Dept. Of Congress told that it is not his job to advise state PCC President, Capt. Uttam Kumar Reddy how to register protest against CAA.
He future told that Congress is a national party and maintains a clear policy on issues. Congress leaders are fully capable of responding to such challenges.
Mr. Sohail further told that Mr. Asaduddin Owaisi can mislead people while playing the role of KCR’s brand ambassador but he should not act as the spokesman of the Commissioner of Hyderabad City Police, Mr. Anjani Kumar.
Mr. Sohail further told that Congress took the right decision by refusing the invitation of MIM for the Nizamabad public meeting. Everyone knows that Mr. Asaduddin Owaisi is Sabotaging the anti CAA campaign in the state. Mr. Asaduddin Owaisi made all the religious leaders surrender before Mr. KCR and assured that no such action would be taken which would go against the Central Govt.
Mr. Sohail also questioned AIMIM Supremo Mr. Asaduddin Owaisi why he didn’t invite Mr. KCR and Mr. KTR for Nizamabad pubic meeting?.
He recalled that after meeting Mr. KCR, Mr. Asaduddin Owaisi had declared that Mr. KCR would make a statement about CAA and NRC within two days but after the lapse of one week, no statement has come from Mr. KCR. In fact, Mr. Asaduddin Owaisi should put a question to Mr. KCR about his silence on these important issues.
