Asaduddin Owaisi’s ‘natak’ remark triggers war of words between him and police

Hyderabad: After MIM President, Asaduddin Owaisi’s ‘natak’ remark, a war of words broke out between him and police.

Recently, Mr. Assaduddin Owaisi said, “Don’t follow one-sided follow. If anyone is a rowdysheeter of any party, he is a rowdysheeter”. He asked the police to take action against them. He also warned of counter-reaction if police fails to take action against them.

According to the news published in TOI, a section of Telangana police feels that the Mr. Owaisi’s warning to Cyberabad Police and “natak” remark is to strengthen MIM in Rajendranagar Constituency.

It may be mentioned that in this constituency there is a tug of war between TRS MLA Prakash Goud, his supporters and local MIM cadre. Both the parties are preparing for 2019 General Elections.

The battle between two the parties forced Cyberabad police to step in and register cases against members of both the parties. However, MIM alleges that police is not taking against the supporters of Mr. Goud.

Responding to it, senior police officials of TS Police said that actions were taken impartially based on facts. They also said that they feel it was an attempt to muzzle the police, however, it will not affect them, TOI reported.

It may be noted that recently, Mohammed Misbahuddin, MIM’s Shastripuram corporator was questioned during the investigation of an incident of firing at King Colony. MIM was not happy with that too.
