Hyderabad: Mr. Asaduddin Owaisi, President of All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) disclosed the name of his party’s MLA who will be ‘Leader of Opposition’ when the party gets opposition status in Telangana State Assembly.
According to the report published in New Indian Express, Mr. Owaisi said that MIM MLA representing Chandrayangutta Assembly Constituency, Mr. Akbaruddin Owaisi will be the ‘Leader of Opposition’ when the party gets the status.
While addressing party members during the Eid Milaap function held at Darussalam, Mr. Asaduddin Owaisi said that Mr. Akbaruddin Owaisi is undergoing treatment in London. He also said that recently, the MLA’s health got worsened.
He asked party members to pray for Mr. Akbaruddin Owaisi.
It may be mentioned that the MLA had received a bullet and knife injuries in 2011. The fragments of the bullet are still lodged near his spine.
