AIMIM president and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi on Thursday compared Nalgonda encounter in which notorious terrorist Viquaruddin and four other undertrials were killed, as that of a Rajanikanth Film.
Talking to mediapersons after calling on Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and demanding him to order a CBI inquiry into the alleged encounter, Owaisi said such type of encounters are possible only in the films of Rajanikanth. He sought to know how the undertrials with handcuffs could pull guns from the police and how the latter can gun the former down.
The Chief Minister reportedly said he would go through the reports of encounter and will respond in a few days, Owaisi said. “The policemen retaliated to the Suryapet incident and gunned down the under trials”, he alleged. “We are condemning the incident of terrorists killing policemen in Suryapet firing. The government can provide the deceased families the needed help and succor”, they said.
However, as per the post mortem reports, the MIM leader said, the policemen shot the under trials, who were handcuffed and tied to the seats in the vehicles they were travelling. Asserting it was a fake encounter, the AIMIM chief demanded that the government initiate a serious action against the culprits. (NSS)
