Arvind Kumar inspects road works at Minister Road

Hyderabad: Municipal Administration Principal Secretary Arvind Kumar today inspected the ongoing model corridor road development works being taken up by the Hyderabad Road Development Construction at the Minister Road in Secunderabad. He directed the HRDCL officials to formulate an action plan to take up maintenance of medians which includes ensuring greenery. He also asked them to conduct a meeting shortly with the Zonal Commissioner, Town Planning officials of GHMC and Traffic police.

The HRDC has taken up construction of white topping for the four roads in the city from Ameerpet (Kanakadurga temple) to Fatehnagar Junction (3.5km), Greenlands to Ameerpet (1.2 km), Rasoolpura Junction to Ranigunj Junction (Minister road – 1.7km) and Sanathnagar Goods shed to Moosapet junction (1.32 km). The road development works involve redesigning and remodeling the cross sections and junctions. It also includes landscaping, footpath traffic signages, road marking, railing and street lighting.
