Itanagar, March 05: runachal Pradesh Home Minister Tako Dabi today claimed he had adopted a novel way to check the security arrangements here — sneaking out every night incognito on a two-wheeler.
Dabi, who took over the home department after the Assembly elections in November, told reporters that he was aware of the crime-prone areas after his experiences.
“I even report absence of policemen and other security personnel to their respective superiors,” he said.
Meanwhile, the minister justified the actions of IRBN personnel who had bashed a man after receiving distress call from his wife.
The personnel had rescued the woman from her husband who used to beat her regularly, he claimed.
