Hyderabad: Former minister and BJP leader DK Aruna on Friday termed the statement of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao against her party as shameful and added that the statement was no less than insulting the verdict of the people of the country giving power to the BJP at the Centre.
Addressing a party gathering, she said the party president Amit Shah was trying to strengthen the party in the State. She hoped that the party would win the next Assembly elections. She said they would expose the corruption in the irrigation projects of the State. She wondered as to what was the urgency to hold the municipal elections in a hasty manner. She alleged that the Chief Minister was not allowing political leaders to grow in the State.
