Arun Jaitley in Twitter controversy, #ShameOnArunJaitley trends

Finance Minister Arun Jaitley has got himself into a corner by slamming General VK Singh for labeling the media as ‘presstitute’.

During a programme on NDTV, Jaitley expressed unhappiness over VK Singh’s ‘presstitute’ tweet and stated that the general should have avoided using such words.

Seemingly, the finance minister’s statement has not gone down well with the Twitteratis, who took to the social media platform to vent out their annoyance.

Hastag #ShameOnArunJaitley has been trending on Twitter since yesterday.

Even the BJP supporters, who call NDTV as an anti-Modi news channel, are making use of the platform to condemn Arun Jaitley for giving an interview to the news channel.

Here are some of the tweets:
Dear @arunjaitley Sir, you have to learn how to be upright from @Gen_VKSingh unless you have something to hide. #ShameOnArunJaitley
