Mumbai, June 14: He won viewers’ hearts with his mischievous and roguish character, Circuit, in Munnabhai MBBS together with multitalented actor Sanjay Dutt.
It was the role, which placed the wickedly funny Arshad on producers wish lish. Since then, Warsi has played a number of humorous roles.
The actor was last seen with hottie Dia Mirza and stupendous actor Boman Irani in ‘Hum Tum Aur Ghost’, but, the film failed to woo audience on the box office.
His last critically acclaimed character was as the con man ‘Babban’ in Vishal Bhardwaj’s Ishiqiya with Naseeruddin Shah and Vidya Balan.
According to sources, the comic star will shortly be a part of a full on romantic flick, the script was first written by Arshad himself ten years back, and he has been asked to refresh it and bring to the big screen.
After making his buffs laugh uncontrollably, the actor is ready to romance on screen and perhaps make us fall in love with this new avatar of his. The question is, will be in front or behind the camera?
