Tirupati, April 13: Telugu Desam Paty (TDP) deputy floor leader in the Assembly Gali Muddukrishnama Naidu has demanded that YSR Congress Party president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy should be arrested since health minister DL Ravindra Reddy himself charged the former MP with having a role in the murder of TDP leader Paritala Ravindra.
Addressing a press conference here today, he said the government should either take action against Jagan Mohan Reddy basing on the observation of Ravindra Reddy or sack the latter for making false charges.Accusing late chief minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy, Jagan Mohan Reddy and AICC chief Sonia Gandhi of amassing wealth, he said it was only the reason why the Union government or the state government was not initiating inquiry against the ill-gotten wealth amassed by Jagan Mohan Reddy. He alleged that Sonia Gandhi and the YSR family together looted public money. Exuding confidence over the victory of the TDP nominees in Pulivendula Assembly and Kadapa Lok Sabha constituencies in the by-elections, the TDP leader said people were vexed with the corrupt Congress and Jagan Mohan Reddy and are waiting to teach them a fitting lesson.
‘Minister’s charges against Jagan should be probed’
The Election Commission should direct the state government to take action on the allegations made by health minister DL Ravindra Reddy against YS Jaganmohan Reddy, BJP senior leader Ch Vidyasagar Rao has said. The minister had made serious allegations against Jagan that he had a role in several murders.
