Hyderabad: Dana Kishore, DEO & Commissioner, GHMC along with Anjani Kumar, Commissioner of Police, Chowhan, Addl.Commissioner of Police (Law & Order) visited and inspected the counting centers where elaborate arrangements are being made for counting which is scheduled to be held tomorrow at various centres in the Hyderabad District.
The officials interacted with the concerned ROs and connected officials who are performing their duties at the counting centres and enquired about the arrangements made and specific instructions have also been given to the ROs to strictly implement the guidelines issued by the ECI.
The officials visited L.B. Indoor Stadium, Nizam College, OU Campus, Amberpet, RBVRR College Narayanguda and other counting centers today. While briefing the media the DEO said as per the directions of the CEO all arrangements for the counting are being taken care, Role of Observers, Precautionary measures which have to be taken, Security at EVM strong rooms etc and counting which will start at 8 AM tomorrow the staff will report by 5AM at the counting centre. The randomization has been done today morning at 7AM in the presence of Senior Observers appointed by ECI where around 900 polling staff has been taken care 300 Micro Observers, 600 counting Supervisors are being informed them to perform their duties assigned to them. Training has also been imparted to the counting staff of 13 locations, 15 Counting centers have been established for the Hyderabad district.
The counting agents have been provided with ID Cards, Postal Ballot counting will be taken up first at 8AM. After half an hour counting will start at each counting centers with 14 tables have been provided. The counting agents will be there at each table. Necessary barricading is being done as per the guidelines of ECI.
The DEO said that for the counting process CCTV Cameras have been provided for clear transparency where the CEO & ECI Officials will watch the process of counting even web casting is also been provided. Round wise counting information will be displayed at the counting centres and the same will be provided at Media Centre also.
No mobile phones are allowed in the counting centres, 144 section is also imposed. At each counting table Micro observers are been deployed. Only after completing the first round second round
will be started said the DEO.
The Third randomization at the counting centers will be done in the presence of Senior observers tomorrow morning at 7AM, the staff will act accordingly as per the randomization and the directions of the Senior Observer. All arrangements are being made with clear transparency at the counting centers, said the DEO.
