Hyderabad: Secretary Minority Welfare Syed Omer Jaleel and Special Officer Hajj Committee Prof. S A Shukoor inspected Hajj terminal along with the officials of various departments like GMR, Civil Aviation, Security, CISF, Immigration, Customs and other departments.
Separate Namazgah, ablution houses and toilets are being arranged for gents and ladies. In anticipation of rain, 700 to 800 water proof sheds are being constructed for visitors which will have chairs and drinking water facility. Toilets are also being constructed for visitors. Separate counters will be set up for Medical team, Hajj Committee and foreign exchange. Each pilgrim will be supplied 5 litre of Zam Zam water.
13 batches have reached Madina Munawwara and remaining 2 more batches will leave Makah today.
Pilgrims will start reaching Hyderabad from the night of October 5. Deputy Chief Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali will welcome the first batch.
Meanwhile efforts are on to release Hyderabadi pilgrim who is in police custody.
