Hyderabad: The arrangements for the Hajj pilgrims to be made at Hajj terminal of Rajiv Gandhi International Airport are in the last phase. The flights of the Hajj pilgrims would start on 21st August.
Mr. Syed Omer Jaleel, IAS, Secretary, Dept. of Minorities Welfare visited Rajiv Gandhi International Airport along with Prof. S.A. Shukoor, Special Officer of Telangana State Hajj Committee and reviewed the arrangements. He expressed his satisfaction over the arrangements. He gave the details of the responsibilities entrusted to the staff of his Dept. He assured that the best possible effort would be made to provide satisfactory service to the Hajj pilgrims.
He inspected immigration, customs and luggage sections of the Airport. He also sought the details of the ladies portion for worship and toilets.
The officials of the Airport informed him that the schedule of departure of flights would be displayed inside and outside the airport. Announcement facility will also be available. Toilet facilities and prayer space will also be provided to the visitors. He told the Airport officials to make arrangements to return the luggage of Hajj pilgrims when they come back to Hyderabad.
