Arrangements for Haj pilgrims reviewed first flight on 29th Sept

Hyderabad, September 27: Haj pilgrims would start pouring in from tomorrow for their onward journey to Makka for performing Haj.

Mr. Mohammed Ahmedullah appealed to the Haj Pilgrims coming from the districts to fix Haj banners on their vehicles to avoid any inconvenience on their way to Hyderabad. He informed the newsmen that for transporting the Haj pilgrims from Haj House to airport, private transport operators have been contacted and negotiations are also going on with the RTC authorities. He said that arrangements have been made to accommodate 800 Haj pilgrims in Haj house. The first batch of Haj pilgrims will fly on 29th night. There will be 24 scheduled flights upto 16th October. Two flights reaching Jeddah on 2nd and 3rd October will fly at 3-30 p.m. from Hyderabad and the Haj pilgrims have to put on ‘Ahraam’ from Hyderabad itserlfa. He further informed that from Hyderabad centre 7800 pilgrims would be sent which includes 700 pilgrims from Karnataka state. Pilgrims from Anantapur would fly from Bangalore.

Mr. Ahmedullah reviewed the arrangements for Haj pilgrims with the Chairman of A.P. State Wakf Board Maulana Syed Ghulam AFzal Biyabani and Chairman of State Haj Committee Mr. Khaleeluddin Ahmed. Present on this occasion were Mr. Mahboob Peera, CEO of Wakf Board and other officials.
