Home Minister Nayani Narasimha Reddy informed that arrangements were in full swing for the conduct of plenary meeting of Telangana Rashtra Samithi in Khammam on April 27.
Speaking to media persons at Telangana Bhavan on Monday, Nayani said nearly 600 delegates from Hyderabad would participate in the party’s plenary. He said TRS would strive to strengthen the organisation from the grassroots level. For the same reason, District and Mandal committees have been constituted.
Nayani claimed that people were completely satisfied with the performance of Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao and the victory of TRS in all elections since Telangana formation was a proof. He said the legislators of other parties were joining the TRS as they were impressed with KCR’s approach towards development. He expressed wonder over Leader of Opposition K. Jana Reddy’s comments wherein he accused ruling party of luring MLAs with money. He said why Jana Reddy did not raise similar objection when TRS MLAs were lured to join the ruling party during Congress regime.
The minister also dismissed Union Labour Minister Bandaru Dattatraya’s allegation over non-utilisation of drought relief sent by the Centre. (INN)
