Hyderabad, August 6: A review meet of high officials belonging to various departments was held on Friday at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Shamsabad to finalize the arrangement for the departure of state Hajj aspirants. The meet discussed the arrangements and measures to be taken for the convenience of people who would arrive to see off the aspirants.
Hajj committee Chairman, Mr. Syed Khaleeluddin Ahmed appealed to the airport authorities for effective and proper arrangements and hoped that better arrangement would be done in the light of previous experiences. Saudi airlines revealed that the departure of Hajj aspirants will begin from September 29 and will continue till October 16.
GMR officials were appealed to install conveyor belt at Hajj terminal so that it may be convenient to transfer the luggage of Hajj aspirants on their arrival and departure.
GMR officials agreed to install public telephone and public address system, construct shelter, arrange separate ablution house and prayer halls for men and women visitors, construct RTC bus shelters, provide canteen facility and install Hajj terminal direction board at airport.
