An Army Recruitment Rally will be conducted under the aegis of Headquarters Recruiting Zone, Chennai by Army Recruiting Office, Secunderabad from May 29 to June 3 at the Sri Ananthapadmanabha Arts & Science Commerce College Vikarabad, RR District to enroll the eligible candidates of ten districts of Andhra Pradesh — Mahbubnagar, Khammam, Ranga Reddy, Hyderabad, Nalgonda, Adilabad, Nizamabad, Karimnagar, Warangal and Medak into the Indian Army in Soldier Technical (Sol Tech)), Soldier Nursing Assistant ( NA), Soldier General Duty ( Sol GD), Soldier Clerk/Store Keeper Technical (Sol CLK, SKT).
The Common Entrance Examination will be conducted at Army Recruiting Office, Secunderabad on July 29. Minimum age of candidates for all the posts is 17 years 6 months to 23 years. The candidates applying for Soldier Technical should have 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics & English, for Sol. N.A. post 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English combinations. For the post of Soldier Clerk should have the qualification of 10+2 either from the stream of Arts, Commerce and Science. The Soldier General Duty Post requires SSC/Matric pass with Minimum 45%. The height required for Soldier General Duty is 166cm, Soldier Technical is 165 cm, Soldier Technical. &NA is 165 com and Soldier Clerk / Store Keeper Technical is 162 cm. For all these posts minimum weight is 50 kg, height 77 cm and 5 cm with expansion of chest.
The screening of documents will be made for the post of Soldier Technical on May 29 and Physical fitness on May 30; Screening for the post of Nursing Asst. will be done May 30, and fitness test on May 31; for Solder General Duty screening will be done May 31, and Fitness test on June 1 and for Soldier Clerk/Store Keeper Technical scrutiny will be done on June 2, and fitness test on June 3.
