Hyderabad: The post-mortem report of Army Major’s wife Sandhya Singh Sandhya who died under suspicious circumstances has revealed that she has committed suicide.
Sandhya Singh, who worked as a radio jockey with Radio Charminar had been living with her husband Vishal Vaibhav Sharma in Bollarum. She hanged herself to death on Tuesday night when her husband was asleep.
Sandhya’s sister Ramya Singh lodged a complaint at Bollarum police station against Sharma alleging that Sandhya was murdered.
Meanwhile, Sharma who was posted at the 54 Infantry unit, suffered a heart attack, and was admitted at the Army Hospital.
Inspector Bollarum, S Umamaheshwar said. “The Army authorities have not handed over Shrama to us. They told that he is admitted to the hospital.”
A team of doctors who performed autopsy at Gandhi Hospital on Wednesday last said that Sandhya has committed suicide and handed over the report to the Bollarum police.
