Islamabad, November 13: Pakistani opposition leader and Tehreek-e-Insaaf chief Imran Khan said he will rein in the Pakistani Army and the ISI if he becomes Prime Minister.
Speaking Media, Imran said that if and when he becomes Prime Minister then everything that happens in the country will be his responsibility and hence, the Army will be under him.
“Unless I can implement my agenda, which means that I take responsibility of everything that happens in Pakistan, it means that the Army is under me,” he said.
On being asked if he will have the courage and strength to challenge General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani and the core commanders, Imran said that if he is the Prime Minister then the Army and the ISI will be under him, which means that the ISI will not be able do anything with out reporting to him.
Imran maintained that he has never been controlled by anyone, so if he becomes the leader of Pakistan then he will be boss.
He said, “I have never ever ever been controlled by anyone, I will be the leader.”
