Erode, February 09:An Armed Reserve Police drowned in an 80 foot deep roadside well at Anthiyur after the motorcyle he was riding skidded and fell in, police said.
The man was on night patrol when the mishap occurred Villagers who noticed him falling in informed police, who rushed to the spot along with fire and rescue personnel.
the motorcyle was recovered this morning and the man’s body in the afternoon, police said.
