Etah (UP), April 18:Four armed miscreants looted around Rs three lakhs and seriously injured a man when heresisted their robbery attempt, police said today.
The men stopped a manager of a petrol pump in Patiyali town at gunpoint last night and asked him to hand over the bag containing the money, they said.
The manager sustained bullet injuries when he tried to stop them from taking away the bag.
Local Samajwadi Party leaders and other organisations have demanded immediate arrest of the miscreants.
No arrests have been made in this connection so far.
