KARIMNAGAR: The Election Watch suspects that a certain political party has been transporting cash in government vehicles like police cars, ambulance.
It seems the illegal money was transferred to villages for the purpose of influencing voters.
District convener of Election Watch, N Srinivas, wrote a letter to the Chief Electoral Officer and requested him to search police vehicles, ambulances and government-owned vehicles at the check-posts.
He also insisted the commission to appoint a team and give the responsibility of checking the vehicles.
He said, “District Election Officer and collector Sarafaraz Ahmed announced that the process of nomination will commence on November 11 and go on till 19.”
